Jewellery Care & Usage Guidelines

Dear Customer,

Thank you for choosing a piece from our silver jewellery collection.

Each item is thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted to ensure it reaches you in pristine condition. To maintain its beauty, finish, and longevity, we kindly request that you review and follow the care guidelines below.

   1. Protection from Moisture, Sweat & Chemicals

 - Sterling silver is a precious metal that may tarnish or lose its finish when exposed to moisture, humidity, perspiration, or chemicals.
- Please remove your jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, sleeping, or performing household chores.

   Avoid direct contact with:

  • Perfumes and deodorants

  • Lotions, creams, and cosmetics

  • Hair sprays and styling products

  • Chlorine, salt water, and cleaning agents

   2. Plated Jewellery Care (Gold / Rose Gold / Rhodium)

  - If your jewellery is gold-plated, rose-gold-plated, or rhodium-plated, please note that plating is a surface finish and may fade over time with regular wear.

To extend the life of the plating:

  • Avoid frequent exposure to water and sweat

  • Do not rub or polish aggressively

  • Store separately to prevent friction

Plating wear is a natural process and not considered a manufacturing defect.

   3. Proper Storage

 - When not in use, store each piece individually in a soft pouch or an airtight container to reduce oxidation and prevent scratches.
   Keep jewellery away from:

  • Direct sunlight

  • Humid or damp environments

  • Rough surfaces or other jewellery

For best results, store jewellery only after it is completely dry.

   4. Regular Cleaning & Maintenance

 - To maintain shine, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear.
   If tarnishing occurs:

  • Use a mild baking soda and water solution, or

  • Use an approved silver polishing cloth or product

Avoid harsh chemicals, toothpaste, or abrasive materials. Always dry thoroughly before storing.

   5. Gemstone Care

 - Natural and semi-precious gemstones may vary in hardness and durability. To protect your stones:

  • Avoid impact, pressure, or dropping

  • Keep away from heat and chemicals

  • Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners unless professionally advised

Natural inclusions, colour variations, and slight irregularities are normal characteristics of genuine gemstones.

   6. Natural Patina & Wear Disclaimer

 - Over time, sterling silver may develop a soft patina or darker tone. This is a natural feature of authentic silver and not a defect.
Minor scratches, surface marks, and natural ageing may occur with regular wear and are considered normal.

   7. Usage & Handling

Jewellery should be the last item worn and the first item removed.
Avoid wearing jewellery during:

  • Sports or gym activities

  • Manual labour

  • Sleeping

Improper handling can result in bent prongs, loose stones, or surface damage.

8. Repairs & Alterations

Any repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by third parties may void any applicable warranty or after-sales service. We recommend contacting us directly for assistance.

9. Limitation of Responsibility

While we ensure strict quality standards during production and dispatch, the long-term condition of jewellery depends significantly on post-purchase care.
We cannot be held responsible for damage or deterioration caused by:

  • Improper handling or storage

  • Exposure to chemicals or moisture

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Plating fade over time

If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to contact us. Our team is always happy to help you care for your jewellery.
