Return & Refund Policy

At Silwear, each piece of jewellery is crafted with care and attention to detail. Due to the nature of fine jewellery, the following terms and conditions apply to all purchases.

1. No Cash Refund Policy
- Silwear does not offer cash refunds under any circumstances.
- Once a purchase is completed, the payment made will not be refunded in cash, bank transfer, card reversal, or any other monetary form.

2. Exchange or Store Credit Only
- Eligible items may be exchanged or converted into store credit.
- Store credit can be used for future purchases at Silwear and is non-transferable.
- Store credit will be issued for the value of the item at the time of purchase, excluding any discounts or promotional offers.

3. Conditions for Returns & Exchanges
- Returns or exchanges will be accepted only if all the following conditions are met:
- The request is made within 7 days from the date of purchase.
- The item is unused, unworn, unaltered, and in original condition.
- Original invoice/receipt is presented.
- All original packaging, tags, certificates, and stones (if any) are intact.
- Silwear reserves the right to inspect and verify the condition of the item before approving any exchange or store credit.

4. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items
- The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable:
- Custom-made or bespoke jewellery
- Personalised or engraved items
- Items made to customer-specified sizes, designs, or stone selections
- Discounted or promotional items
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons), unless manufacturing defects are proven

5. Manufacturing Defects
- If a manufacturing defect is identified within 7 days of purchase, Silwear will, at its discretion, repair the item free of charge or offer an exchange or store credit.
- Natural silver oxidation, tarnishing, or discolouration is not considered a manufacturing defect and does not indicate low-quality or impure silver.
- Oxidation may occur due to sweat, body chemistry, humidity, perfume, lotions, cosmetics, chlorine, or improper storage
- Claims related to discolouration, tarnish, or surface changes caused by oxidation are not eligible for return, exchange, store credit, or defect claims.
- Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or improper care are not covered under manufacturing defects.

6. Alterations & Repairs
- Once an item has been altered, resized, or repaired by any third party, it becomes ineligible for return, exchange, or store credit.

7. Final Decision
- Silwear’s decision is final regarding all returns, exchanges, repairs, and store credits.
- By making a purchase, the customer confirms acceptance of this Refund & Return Policy.
